Julie Lovelock Zen Yoga: Terms & Conditions
1.1 “Owner” refers to Julie Lovelock.
1.2 “Customer” refers to the client, or company who has booked Julie Lovelock Zen Yoga services.
1.3 “Teacher” refers to the person or persons responsible for overseeing and teaching any classes booked.
1.3 “Class” or “Classes” refer to Yoga classes (video and in-person), meditation, meditation and mindfulness, Yoga Nidra sessions, and any other wellbeing activities as agreed with the client.
1.5 “Terms and conditions” refer to this document.
1.6 If you access and use this website (the “Site”), you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these terms (the “Terms”). If you do not accept the Terms, you should not use the site.
1.7 The Owner reserves the right to change the Terms and therefore asks customers to check the Terms regularly, prior to booking.
2. Booking & Payment terms
2.1 Customers are required to pay for bookings in advance on a rolling monthly or 3-monthly basis, or for the agreed number of sessions.
2.2 Prices are agreed prior to the first session, these may change from time to time, but all bookings made prior to change in price will remain unchanged.
3. Cancellations (Customer)
3.1 In person, private and corporate classes operate a 48 hour cancellation policy. Where cancellations are made in sufficient time, credit will be added back to the relevant account, or a paid for class will be ‘rolled over’ to another week. Classes cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still incur the full fee.
3.2 Subscriptions to our online video Yoga sessions (Zen Yoga Online, Zen Yoga Online for Children) are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should circumstances arise where the Owner fails to add a new Yoga class to either of these subscription plans in any week, the subscription will be extended by a week. The Owner will not be liable for any other incurred costs or damages to the customers from a cancellation.
4. Locations and Start Times for In-person Classes
4.1 Customers are asked to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of the Class. The Owner reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone arriving after the start of the Class.
4.2 For corporate and private bookings, the location must be agreed between the Owner and the Customer five days prior to the first class and it is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure the location is safe and suitable for a class.
5. Fitness and Health for Online and In-person Yoga Classes
5.1 The Owner advises Customers not to take part in one of the Classes without first seeking medical advice if they have any concerns at all over their physical condition.
5.2 Customers with low or high blood pressure or cardiovascular irregularities should not attend the Class without express and written permission from a medical professional.
5.3 The Owner reserves the right to refuse access to any Customer if it in any way doubts the health of the Customer and their ability to safely take part in the Classes.
5.4 Customers accept the risk of injury from performing exercises in the Classes. The Owner accepts no liability for injury to the Customer, except in so far as such injury is by law incapable of exclusion.
5.5 Women who are 14+ weeks pregnant are welcome to join the class, on the basis that they have some prior yoga experience. We regret that pregnant women less than 12 weeks and with no prior yoga experience are not recommend to join the class.
6. Dress and Suitability
6.1 The Owner requests all Customers to dress appropriately for yoga classes.
6.2 Cleanliness and hygiene is essential – both of Customers themselves and their attire.
6.3 Children under the age of 16 should not attend Classes without the supervision of a responsible adult.
6.4 Shoes should not be worn during a Yoga class.
6.5 Corporate and private yoga Customers will need to provide their own yoga mats (with the help of the Company)
7.1 Unless agreed in writing, the Customer is not allowed to share, photograph, copy, duplicate or video any artistic material provided to them via the Owner.
7.2 Such material, and the format of class, will belong to the Owner and be capable of being licensed by the Owner alone.
7.3 Where the Owner authorises a video of the class then it may only be used for the agreed authorised purpose and for a period not exceeding one year from the date of instruction.
8. General Data Protection Regulation
8.1 The Customer and Teacher consent to the Owner using their data for the proper purposes to enable it to operate its business.

9. Online Classes Disclaimer
9.1. We do not permit pregnant students into general classes as there are contraindications which cannot be accommodated in a virtual class setting. Please contact us for Pregnancy Yoga online classes.
9.2 If you have any injuries, medical conditions or other limitations, it is essential that you consult your doctor or consultant prior to taking part in on-line classes.
9.3 By Joining our online classes you automatically accept full responsibility for your own safety and recognise that in absence of a teacher physically present to advise, it is your duty to take full responsibility ensure that you stay within your physical limits. Julie Lovelock shall bear no responsibility for any injury sustained within the scope of your participation in our on-line sessions.
