With the Sun (Ha) in Taurus and the Moon (Tha) opposite and so full in Scorpio, this is the ideal time to practise Yoga Nidra, allowing you to delve into the depths of the subconscious mind and draw out or shine a light on what you need to be aware of to wake up and transform.
Starting off with gentle stretching with the grounded sun salutation to release tension, nadi Shodana breathing to balance and calm and then lying down for an hour of deep rest and relaxation. With the Sun (Ha) in dreamy Pisces, which governs the subconscious mind, this is the ideal time to practise Yoga Nidra, when life can feel quite dreamy and unreal! The Moon (Tha) starts off in Scorpio, a water sign like Pisces, and is about reaching those deep, darks emotions which, by shining a light on them, allows our emotions, and therefore ourselves, to transform. The Moon then moves into Sagittarius, the spiritual traveller, whether that be physically or inwardly. Then, we come to the Moon in Capricorn and climb the metaphorical mountains to grow and achieve our progress.
Solstice, meaning 'sun still', when the Sun is on the Tropic of Capricorn, the furthest point from us, where it stays for three days until the light returns at Christmas, the sun moving back towards the equator, bringing longer days. The Sun enters Capricorn at this time. It is the time to find your light and hope in the darkness. Also, Jupiter and Saturn are conjunct in Aquarius promising change... Be the change you want to see in the world... This Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) allows you to rest and recuperate either in preparation for Christmas or after Christmas. It is deep relaxation and allows you to reprogram, to tune into your subconscious, to find you and set your hope and dreams for the coming year. Wishing you peace, love and light for Christmas and the coming year. Thank you for your loyalty. I hope you enjoy your Namasté Home practice and continue to do so. 💜 🙏
A session of Yoga Nidra with a grounded Sun Salutation to stretch and release and Nadi Shodana breathing to balance and prepare. Following the new moon in Scorpio, it is a time of new beginnings and transformation, to find your inner light in the darkness and focus on where you want to life to head towards. A Yoga Nidra session can help us to relax, reprogramme our subconscious, tune into ourselves and subtly feel refreshed and positive.
Recorded on the Aquarius full moon but going out for the Sun (Ha) in Leo and the Moon (Tha) in Pisces/Aries. In unsettled times, a whole practice that includes Yoga Nidra can really help to re-calibrate, to tune into ourselves to find out which direction is the right one for us. Yoga is the union of mind, body and spirit and so Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, helps us to connect with our spirit and reprogram the subconscious mind.
