Sun in Aquarius | Moon in Virgo, Libra & Scorpio

A gentle, relaxing but deep class to heal, soothe, ground and balance, so releasing stress and tension, to leave us feeling stretched, de-stressed, energised and refreshed. The Sun (Ha) is in Capricorn momentarily but then moves into Aquarius; A humane sign, it rules the circulatory system, pumping the blood (or love) around the body (or the world). The Moon (Tha) starts earthy Virgo, focusing on the effect of the breath on nervous system. The Moon then moves into airy Libra, balancing emotional energy. The moon then finishes in Scorpio, when we focus on the hidden areas we don't want to talk about. Shining a light on these areas to bring out hidden emotions and so transform.

Sun in Virgo | Moon in Capricorn, Aquarius & Pisces

A gentle but deep session when we can release emotions by the stretching, strengthening and grounding of our practice, and nurture by de-stressing with self-care and love. The last session of the Sun (Ha) in Virgo, focusing on the way stress affects us in our body and how our breathing can help this. The Moon (Tha) starts off in earthy Capricorn. We can feel our emotions here, and either bend too easily or can't bend to others. The Moon then moves into airy Aquarius, to prepare for the full moon as it's opposite Leo. The Moon then finishes in watery Pisces, ready for the Pisces full moon, helping us to feel grounded, when we might feel quite ungrounded, so it's important to focus on the feet, keeping them firmly on the ground.

Sun in Leo & Virgo | Moon in Capricorn, Aquarius & Pisces

A gentle but deep session when we can release emotions that no longer works for us, by the stretching, strengthening and grounding of our practice, so de-stressing and allowing us the strength to move forward. We start with the Sun (Ha) in fiery Leo which rules the heart where it's important to learn to receive as well as give love for our health. The Sun then moves into Virgo, focusing on the way stress affects us in our body, the fight or flight response and how our breathing can help this. The Moon (Tha) starts off in earthy Capricorn. We can feel our emotions here, and either bend too easily or can't bend to others. The Moon then moves into airy Aquarius, to prepare for the full moon as it's opposite Leo, ruling the circulatory system, pumping the blood (or love) from the heart around the body (or the world). The Moon finishes in watery Pisces. We can feel quite ungrounded at this time, so it's important to focus on the feet, keeping them firmly on the ground.

Sun in Sagittarius | Moon in Cancer, Leo & Virgo

A full session starting with lying down and connecting with the breath, easing into floor asanas, a grounded sun salutation, pranayama and asanas to extend, balance, twist, side bend and inversion. Finishing with a relaxing, elemental meditation and visualisation. Working with the Sun (Ha) in Sagittarius, a fire sign that now gives us the energy to travel and move forwards after the introspection of Scorpio, whether that be inwardly and spiritually or outwardly and physically. Sagittarius rules the hips, that decide our direction, the thighs that give us the power to move, the femur which is the structure that holds us together to move, the pelvis and sacral region where we store a lot of energy or trauma that is released when we open the hips and, finally, the liver, reached through the inner thigh from where we release toxins. The Moon (Tha) is first of all in Cancer, a water sign, feminine and nurturing and is about those areas that allow us to nurture ourselves - the breasts, stomach, womb, the digestive system and, some say, the pancreas. The Moon then moves into Leo, which rules the heart, the spine, the upper back and the spleen and awakens the fire within us. Lastly, the Moon moves into Virgo that rules the large and small intestines, the bowel and lower digestive tract plus the sympathetic (flight or fight) and parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous systems; its earth encouraging us to stay grounded and breathe to stay calm and release all that no longer works for us.

Sun in Scorpio | Moon in Cancer, Leo & Virgo

A full session starting with lying down and connecting with the breath, easing into floor asanas, a grounded sun salutation, pranayama and asanas to extend, balance, twist, side bend and inversion. Finishing with a relaxing meditation and visualisation. Working with the Sun (Ha) in Scorpio, a water sign that encourages us to go within and look at our deep dark, hidden areas we don't want to talk about and so bring them to the light, preparing ourselves to go within in the darker, longer days of winter. So, working with the bladder, the urinary tract, the prostate gland, the genitals, the cervix, the reproductive organs and the nose, that others can see but we can't. This session stays close to the ground as we move into the darker days and go within, to find ourselves and transform but staying safe and grounded. The Moon (Tha) is first of all in Cancer, also a water sign, feminine and nurturing and is about those areas that allow us to nurture ourselves - the breasts, stomach, womb, the digestive system and, some say, the pancreas.
