The Sun (Ha) is in airy Aquarius. Aquarius rules the lower leg: the shin, where the bone, representing our deep, core spiritual beliefs, is close to the surface and can feel so vulnerable as we step forward, pushing our beliefs out there. Aquarius also rules the circulatory system that pumps blood from the heart (ruled by Leo, Aquarius's opposite sign) around the body, metaphorically spreading love around the world. With the moon in Scorpio, our hidden emotions can come to the surface and transform into energy to bring us on to the Sagittarius Moon. Sagittarius rules the thighs and femur, giving us structure and power to move forward. Lastly, the moon moves into Capricorn. We can feel our emotions here, and either bend too easily or cannot bend to others.
The Sun (Ha) is now in airy Aquarius whose symbol is the water bearer. So, like Capricorn, there is a sensitivity many don't realise is there. Aquarius rules the lower leg: the shin, where the bone, representing our deep, core spiritual beliefs, is close to the surface and can feel so vulnerable as we step forward, pushing our beliefs out there. The calf behind is made of soft tissue that represents our mind, which hopefully offers energy and support to our beliefs. It also rules the ankle, which is our support. Aquarius is a fixed sign which also rules the heels, which we can dig in when we're being stubborn or tenacious.
A full session with relaxation and gentle stretching to start, Agne Darcy pranayama, a gentle sun salutation and postures/asanas, done mindfully and closing with a relaxing meditation and visualisation. Sun (Ha) in Leo works with the spine, heart, upper back, aorta and spleen. Moon (Tha) in Sagittarius works with the hips, thighs, femur, liver, sacral area and pelvis. Moon in Capricorn works with the skeletal frame, the bones and joints, particularly the knees. Moon in Aquarius works with the lower leg, the ankles, Achilles heel and circulation.
