With the Sun (Ha) in Pisces and then the Moon (Tha) in Pisces for the new moon, the emphasis is very much on our health, strengthening the immune system. So, we work on the poses releasing negative energy and bringing in positive. The Moon starts in Aquarius, so we do some stretching to release and strengthen the ankles and breath work for the circulation. The Moon then moves into Pisces for the new moon. We need to ground especially at this time and be aware of the feet. Then, the moon finishes in Aries, starting the zodiac cycle again in the head, brain, eyes and muscles, relating to the mind.
A very chilled full session working with the Sun (Ha) in Virgo, so de-stressing via the sympathetic nervous system and working with the large intestines to let go of all that isn't working for us and to de-stress further in the small intestines. Working with the Moon (Tha) in Pisces, which rules the feet and then moving into Aries which rules the head, clearing from feet to head via the Chakra system. Incorporating the Nadi Shodana pranayama breathing exercise and finishing with a relaxing meditation and visualisation.
