A full session starting with lying down and connecting with the breath, easing into floor asanas, a grounded sun salutation, pranayama and asanas to extend, balance, twist, side bend and inversion. Finishing with a relaxing meditation and visualisation. Working with the adrenal glands, kidneys, lower back and balance for the Sun (Ha) in Libra and then moving into the Sun in Scorpio, a water sign that encourages us to go within and look at our deep dark, hidden areas we don't want to talk about and so bring them to the light, preparing ourselves to go within in the darker, longer days of winter. So, working with the bladder, the urinary tract, the prostate gland, the genitals, the cervix, the reproductive organs and the nose, that others can see but we can't. For the Moon (Tha) initially in Capricorn, we work with our structure, our skeletal frame that holds us together, the bones, the joints, particularly the knees. We may feel things emotionally in our bones. The Moon then moves into Aquarius bringing us to the vulnerable shins and Achilles heel, the ankles, that hold us up and support, and the circulatory system, how we pump blood (or love) from our hearts around the body (the world). Finally, the Moon moves into Pisces which rules the feet and the immune system, keeping grounded with our feet on the ground and giving ourselves a boost.
