The Sun (Ha) is in fiery Aries. Aries rules the head, the brain, the eyes and the muscles. Yoga is good for all the muscles, but you can focus on specific areas of need too. The Moon (Tha) starts off just in Aquarius, so focusing on the circulatory system, before moving into Pisces. Pisces rules the feet and the immune system. We can feel quite ungrounded at this time, so it's important to focus on the feet. Next, the Moon moves into Aries, to prepare for the Aries new moon, ruling the head, brain, eyes, muscles again, feeling this all doubly, emotionally too, and so the mind. The Moon then finishes by being in Taurus briefly, ruling the neck and throat particularly. We can release all that no longer works for us, by the stretching, strengthening and grounding of our practice.
